October 15 Field Study
It had rained pretty good the night before so the pond had filled up a little bit more than usual, and this time there wasn't as many frogs that would jump in as I approached it. I did this field study on October 15 at 10:30 am. It was a warm 45 degrees out when I did the field study and some changes I noticed were that the leaves on the trees had fallen off more, and another thing that I thought was interesting was that the algae in the pond didn't seem as thick as usual.
Are you noticing any patterns in the color change or leaf fall? Any fungi? Tracks? Insects? Don't forget to include your length of day.
